A retainer fee is an amount we require to be paid up front and is placed in our trust account prior to the commencement of legal services.  We bill our hourly rate from the retainer fee in trust, not in addition to the retainer.  Once the retainer fee in trust is exhausted, we will request another retainer to replenish the funds.  At the conclusion of our services, if there is any portion of a retainer left in our trust account, we will return that amount to the client.
